Brown, who plays for Maccabi Tel Aviv, cited health reasons for his decision to skip the World Cup. He has resigned from playing for Spain in the basketball World Cup due to physical problems. Despite his absence, Brown had previously expressed his interest in helping Spain in their title defense in the World Cup.
