Minister Erlić Secures 150 Million Euros for Croatian Islands from European Funds
Minister Šime Erlić has secured 150 million euros for Croatian islands from European funds. This is the first time that such a large amount of money has been obtained from European funds for the islands. The money has been earmarked for the support of assisted and mountainous areas. The Croatian Parliament has discussed the use of EU structural and investment funds, with some members disagreeing on the effectiveness of the use of EU funding. In an interview, Minister Erlić stated that the real investment wave will affect the beneficiaries of EU funds from 2025. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for ensuring that EU funds are used effectively.
