Turkey’s Pegasus Airlines Places Order for 36 Airbus A321neos

Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has ordered 36 Airbus A321neo aircraft to expand its fleet. The order was announced on July 14, 2023, and the airline seeks to maintain a young fleet. The A321neo is the largest version of the European aircraft manufacturer’s A320 family and is known for its fuel efficiency and range.

The delivery timeline for the 36 Airbus A321neo aircraft ordered by Pegasus Airlines has not been specified in the search results. However, the initial order has been updated three times and now covers 114 airframes, which will see deliveries until 2026. Pegasus expects to take delivery of its 100th aircraft in September 2023, which is an A321neo. This is part of the ten deliveries expected this year, with no further details on the delivery timeline for the remaining 26 A321neo aircraft. Pegasus is set to take delivery of 150 new A320neo family aircraft from Airbus by 2029.
