Disney’s Time Capsule: Unveiling Treasures from a Century of Magic

To celebrate its centenary, Disney has unveiled certain pieces from its archives, including princess costumes, sketches, photos, and collector’s documents. The Walt Disney Archives has opened its vault of treasures, showcasing more than 250 of its “Crown Jewels,” rarely seen original artworks, and more. The Disney 100th anniversary celebration is a worldwide event, but Disneyland Resort is at the center of it, with special décor, character outfits, food, drink, merchandise, and new nighttime entertainment, including a new fireworks show and a new version of World of Color. The year-long celebration started on January 27, 2023, at Disneyland Resort, and a new ride, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, opened on the same day.
